The South Ayrshire Council Communities Fun Day is set to return this year at a brand-new location.
The award-winning event will take place on Saturday 11 May 2024 at both the Riverside Sports Arena and Ayr Academy in Ayr.
Organised and run by our Housing Service and Thriving Communities teams, this hugely popular free event is not to be missed.
There will be an array of exciting activities available on the day including stage performances; canoeing taster sessions; an inflatable zone; bike track taster sessions; a Scalextric track, Thomas & Friends model railway; an astro glide slide; a Miami fun fair Ride; displays of vintage and modern vehicles and much more.
As well as being a great day out for all the family, the Communities Fun Day is a fantastic opportunity for anyone living or working in South Ayrshire to speak with various Council services; community groups; service providers; and external agencies within the information zone.
Councillor Martin Kilbride, South Ayrshire Council’s Portfolio Holder for Housing, Buildings and Environment said: “I’m delighted to see the Communities Fun Day back for 2024, it’s always a fantastic day out for the whole family.
“This year we’ll also be able to make the most of our fantastic new facility at Riverside Sports Arena, so I’d encourage anyone who is interested in attending to book their free tickets now.”
