NHS Ayrshire & Arran is hosting a drop-in event at the Grain Exchange in Ayr this Friday 3 March between 10am and 2.30pm. Members of the public are invited to come along to hear more about the proposals to retain changes made to the Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) service and will be able to share their views and feedback.

This face to face event in Ayr will be the first of a series of community events planned in South, North and East Ayrshire. If you can’t make it along to an in-person event, you can find more information about the consultation and how to get involved online by visiting www.jointheconversation-nhsaaa.co.uk. They are also planning on running an evening online event for those unable to attend an in person event or would rather join in the conversation from the comfort of their home.

Dementia Friendly Troon & Villages Needs You!!!!

Dementia Friendly Troon & Villages are looking for fresh support from local individuals to continue a programme of work into 2023 – we’re hosting an open session in Troon Town Hall on Tuesday March 14th 2023 at 630pm to showcase the various projects that we feel will be of benefit to people living with dementia in our community.  These include the photo installation and benches at the Sunken Gardens, our allotment up at Fullarton Woods, our Relaxed Golf programme at Royal Troon and our business training offer.  We are open to other suggestions and look forward to making Troon and its villages even more dementia friendly!  See you there! If you can’t attend but would still like to be involved, get in touch with Jim Baird on 07584 327875
