Hi Everyone

The vision for South Ayrshire communities is that everyone is supported to ‘Grow Well, Live Well and Age Well’. As part of our aspirations for our communities, South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership is keen to hear the views of the community in relation to services for women and children affected by domestic abuse. This survey should only take about 5 minutes to complete and responses are anonymous.

Please see the link below and attached QR code for sharing with your wider networks.  We appreciate that this is a very sensitive topic so please do not pass the survey on for completion, if you think it may cause harm.

Troon Gala Day 2023

The forecast for Sunday 25th wasn’t good but as often with forecasts Troon escapes
the worst. However it was obvious as the morning went on, the worst was coming our
way and a duty of care decision was made by TCC to move the event inside. In
TCC’s planning we had sought and received the back up of Troon Old Parish Church
Halls and now we had to quickly instigate that plan! The Troon Old facilities saved
the day – turning what could have been a washout into a great community event.
Everyone pulled together and Joe Millar, TCC’s Citizen of the Year, crowned the
Gala Queen – Niamh Wylie, Gala Princesses – Lucy Grant and Abbie Knight. Great
entertainment from Kenny James, Dancing displays from KB Dance and Performing
Arts, plus a large Ukulele Clan performance. The stall holders appreciated not
losing out on the day and we have to thank them for putting up with the cramped
conditions. It all worked wonderfully well, thanks once again to Troon Old Parish
Church, TCC members and a group of dedicated volunteers who allowed the event to
carry on.
Running over the school summer holidays, Troon’s Famous Odd Object Competition
is once again open to ALL primary school children.
Entry forms are available in the
Library or downloadable from TCC’s website:-
