The recognition follows a motion lodged in the Scottish Parliament by South Scotland MSP Sharon Dowey, congratulating the team at Queen View Harbour for their success.The ranking was compiled by the UK care home search platform Lottie, which assessed homes using a wide range of criteria, including Care Inspectorate ratings, response times, resident feedback, and staff wellbeing.Queen View Harbour opened in 2021, and has quickly established itself as one of the leading care facilities in the country. With a strong emphasis on creating a vibrant and supportive community, the home offers residents a range of state-of-the-art facilities including a cinema, hairdressing salon, and welcoming social spaces.
